Ingenious solution to open back and racer back outfits!
In a fitted bra I normally wear a 42C, but in a casual cotton racer-back bra from Hanes, for example, I find a 2X most comfortable, although it's not exactly pretty. There are times when an ordinary racer-back bra will show in back of an outfit, however, and this new product is the solution. I ordered the XL which is labeled as 44"-46". In casual cotton light sport bras like Fruit of the loom (not a racer-back) I wear a 42" when out and about and the 44" when at home, and I know I'm sort of an in between size in stretchy bras anyway, so I knew the chances were good the XL in this stretch bra would fit. This crochet-looking bra (I'm referring to the part between the shoulder blades) fit very well. It doesn't provide a great deal of support, of course, as it's something like a Genie, but I believe it's made better and more true to size than a corresponding Genie in this size. For a little added modesty, a bit of lift and light support in certain outfits, I may add a Nu-bra "Featherlite" (in nude D/E) which is essentially a set of cups that self-stick, are supposed to be positioned a little higher than most cups, and fasten together in the front. Other women (I'm in my mid-60s and fairly busty after all) may find that a lightweight shield or insert would be sufficient if they just want a little extra modesty. I found that the removable shells that go inside the pockets of one of my Fruit of the Loom bras works, for instance. There are little silicone self-stick "pasties" available from many on-line sources as well. The bra material is thin enough that with a light, closely fitted top, there may be a little too much info conveyed otherwise.
