very poorly made
This frame was not made well. Screws didn't go all the way through. Very cheaply made.

Perfect for our needs a a critical time in our lives!
My wife is getting ready to travel to Houston, Texas for a very critical operation. She has had trouble, for some time, getting in and out of bed, due to her problems leading up to this surgery. This bed rail has been a great safety factor for her, not just now, but when she returns from her surgery. It makes it so much easier for her to get in and out of bed, with safety. If you are looking for a negative comment from me, you are barking up the wrong tree!! Thank you, so much, for offering such a helpful product, and we will be using your company in the future.

Just the feeling of security my wife now has was worth the purchase

Not made for high mattresses
The bed rail is of excellent quality but with todays high mattress it doesn't provide much safety to edge of bed. It would be good for a child size mattress as it would stick up higher on edge of mattress

Good for Proper Use
This rail works very well as a reminder to a debilitated person to get help before trying to leave bed. The rail is light weight, easy to assemble, easy to install, easy to move away from the bed, easy to store, and easy to transport for travel or such. It is not designed to keep a patient violently determined to get out of bed safely in the bed. It is working wonderfully for us.

This has secured my husband's side of bed plus gives him something to help get up at night. (FYI-please do not put this
out to others.) For us it is a solution to end a couple instances
when he has fallen at night. It seems perfect! No need for
photo as it looks exactly like what you have at top.

To Small for most Beds..
Looks good but to small for the new kind of mattresses that have pillow tops. I can't use it,but it is to much hassle to send it back.

This seems to be perfect for a rail that is the height of the mattress to keep someone in bed who sits on edge, keeping the mattress from sinking down allowing the patient to slip off the side of the bed. Low profile box springs do not allow for most bed rails that have legs on the floor.

Does the guard rail fold down so you can get out of bed?
A shopper on Jan 16, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question. The Bed Guard rail does not fold down. We hope this information will be of help to you.
How does the bottom hold from spreading apart ?
A shopper on Mar 10, 2015
BEST ANSWER: There are "screws" in the top rail on each side that prevent it from spreading any further than you want it to
Does the bed guard railing pull out easily if you need to move it around? I know it doesn't fold down.
A shopper on Sep 3, 2016
BEST ANSWER: No problem with moving the rail. I just wish it were a bit higher. I did not take into account the size or the mattress I was using it for. In other words the thickness of the mattress.
Can it be used for a foot board? I want it so the covers will stop sliding off the bed as we sleep. I wake up to them on the floor every morning. I was hoping this would stop it from happening. Help!
Lynda A on Jan 30, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It might be rather difficult. You would need to tuck your blankets under the mattress and then slide in the guard rail. Your message sounds as though that is not what you are doing now. I really like for getting out of bed - on the side of the bed.
