Comments about Bar Soap Maker:
This does work but it's time consuming and need to have patience...once i had enough slivers i put them inside with water and squeezed tight...i let it dry completely before using...it was a round bar of soap and held together, ugly because of the different color slivers but it worked...if you don't have patience then do not buy the product because you'll frustrate yourself...
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

About Me Midrange Shopper
Packaging says "new and improved" but I don't know what was improved. This simply does not work (at least not for me). I softened the soap pieces in very warm water even changing it a few times and letting it sit quite a while before putting in the soap maker. After removing from the container I let it dry and when I went to use the bar of soap, it started to fall apart. Very disappointed.

I've used the mold once. The problem I have is after warming up the old soap it is very messy as both ends of the mold are open. I pressed the soap very hard, twisting the ends to form the soap. Quite a bit of slurry came out. In order to make the mold work, you have to fill it up. It's "usable" but a bit clumsy and the end product is round and kind of unattractive. I'm sure someone who is more crafts minded would get a better end result.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
