I'd have to say that you need deep arms for it to fit correctly, but my chair is a bit shallow. I love it anyway and have the pockets filled.

Fabulous! Buying one for a gift...

I have finally found an organizer that suits my needs. The tray is great to keep a notepad on to take down info when on the phone. I keep my remotes, tissues, tv listings, bills to be paid, a pen, and more in this wonderful item. And there is still room for more. And, it stays on the arm of the chair instead of slipping off like so many others I have tried.
