I have had a number of items like this but this one did not do the job. I mainly got it for popping the pressure caps on glass jars. This does not work. It will not grab and hold the rim to pop the top.

Perfect for arthritic hands!

I hardly ever cook, but opening jars, bottles, etc is very hard for me due to arthritis in my hands. Pop tops & pop-off jam lids are the hardest, & this little gizmo does the job without any discomfort for me! The plastic seems to be very sturdy, so I don't imagine it would break easily. It's so small & handy that I have it hanging on a little hook so it's easy to grab.
Very convenient to use. Very pleased.

The product is great for opening bottles. I have arthritis and do not have the strength to open bottles. This tools allows me the independence of opening the bottle for myself and not relying on other people.
