Difficult and Innefective

With two bad knees bending to put on socks is a real chore. I've been using a shoe horn as an aid so finally broke down and bought this. Poor decision on my part. It does help hold my sock in place to get my foot in it, but it does not do the most important part, help pull the sock up over my heels. It lets go of the sock and leaves it dangling about midway on my foot. I've tried it with different types of socks, and using different methods, none worked. Not at all eas to use.

I just love this great and helpful product! I can get my own socks on quickly and easily every time. My husband loves it too because now he doesn't have to put my socks on for me! I struggle with alot of lower back pain and sciatica...this product really saves me alot of discomfort as well! Everyone should have one!
"Not practicable for compression socks"

This product would probably work well for someone using regular socks. I use compression socks and while once I finally manage to get the compression sock on this product, it works fine, however, it is very tedious and time consuming to get the sock on this product properly.
Foot Valet Aid To The Rescue

I have had RA for many years and since I brok my hip 7 years ago it made my hip hurt all day if I pulled it up to put my socks on so I had my daughter put them on for me but my day was about half over before she would get up so a friend saw this and sent it to me and I bought one and it works great except I have a little problem getting my sock over it at the befinning but other than that it is supper. I would recommend it to anyone who needs help getting their socks on.

It does a great job of getting the sock started onto the foot. But the, the sock slids off with the sock half way on. If you can't reach it to pull it up, you have a real problem pulling the sock the rest of the way onto your foot. I've wasted my money. I'm 72 years old and have Ankylosing Spondylitis.

I bought this for my husband, he has a large amount of atipose tissue in the abdominal area.Meaning I had to always be available to put his socks on. Hurray he now has independence, and thinks that I am the smart one to find the item...Thanks

As a wife and care giver of an individual with CMT, (Chargot-Marie-Tooth), I am always on the lookout for devises that help to keep him independent. This devise is too rigid for someone with Chargot foot. I did, however pass it along to another care giver in my family, to use. He has better control of his feet, and finds that this devise fits his needs admirably.
