flimsy, horrible directions

About Me Caregiver
Comments about Suspensory Urinal:
The directions for the cost effective straps to hold the bag on are not evident. This is a chronic complaint of catheder users. Any elderly person who is too weak to have need of the product, is also too weak to pull the small rubber holes over the large plastic buttons. (Assuming I did that right). The body interface appears adequate, but the hose stiffness requires calf attachment of the bag (or reengineering the system) The straps are very difficult to adjust (still don't have it figured out). Either falls off or is too tight.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Suspensory Male Urinial needs adjustment
from West Palm Beach,Florida 33409 U S A.
About Me Elderly
When in use lying down in bed, plastic urine bag folds and urine is backingup as a result urine flows to the body. For me to continue using it an adjustment has to be made, such as shorter length of urine bag (about 4" in length and harder rubber so that it is stiffer and difficult to fold)

The plug comes out of the end of the sheath allowing urine to run down leg or possibly fall into toliet causing unsanitary condition. This has all happend several times in a six week period of using this new item.
Excellent for long travel

About Me Average Health, Field Inspector, Traveler, Traveling Instructor
Long times of twelve hours or more on ground and air transportation and checking many construction sites with with poor rest room facilities makes this an excellent alternative. I never have to use public rest rooms until I get home or to my motel room. It takes practice using it and learning how to prevent the bag from getting inflated and air bound. The jock strap and sheath are extremely comfortable.

Nothing good. In garbage inside 30 minutes. The leg hold straps are cheap surgical bands. The collection bag too small, heavy plastic with large knobs to attach the straps. Tube from sheath to bag too small with no provision for air escape which makes drainage slow. The sheath is too small, couldn't fit my tool in even after cutting away all adjustment at inlet. Sheath material too heavy. Sticks straight out in anything but a fully seated position as does my tool when protruding through the hole in the webbed belt. This product is described as "freedom and peace of mind for active men". Active men move, usually by walking. This device is useless and would be embarrassing to wear.

Works Great & Great Investment
from BC Canada
About Me disabled
It took a bit to get the nack of getting it on and to feel confident that it would work without leaking, but it has been a great investment for security and peace of mind. I can now go anywhere and not worry that I won't make it to a washroom in time.
