This frame was not made well. Screws didn't go all the way through. Very cheaply made.

Not made for high mattresses
from Greenock, Pa.
The bed rail is of excellent quality but with todays high mattress it doesn't provide much safety to edge of bed. It would be good for a child size mattress as it would stick up higher on edge of mattress
Bottom LineYes, I would recommend this to a friend

About Me Budget Shopper
This rail works very well as a reminder to a debilitated person to get help before trying to leave bed. The rail is light weight, easy to assemble, easy to install, easy to move away from the bed, easy to store, and easy to transport for travel or such. It is not designed to keep a patient violently determined to get out of bed safely in the bed. It is working wonderfully for us.

Looks good but to small for the new kind of mattresses that have pillow tops. I can't use it,but it is to much hassle to send it back.
