      Comments about Easy Open Jar Opener:

      I bought this for my mother-in-law who has recently had a stroke and she couldn't use it. It didn't work for her at all. Plus, in order to pull out the jaws you can't grip the black handle which makes it impossible for someone with a stroke to manage.

      Bottom LineNo, I would not recommend this to a friend

        Ratchet handle internals seems to be plastic - more gripping power (using metal ratchet parts?) would allow more pressure to be applied to lid
