Comments about Over The Door Storage Rack XL:
would buy again, fit right onto the door and has great space for spices and can goods.
GREAT STORAGE!

I received this today and am very happy with it! It is very sturdy and well made. The rack fit over my pantry door perfectly without any additional anchors. The item came in a sturdy box and exceeded my expectations. I would love to have one on every closet door in my house!
Okay but may not be the best!

Great item

If you would just add four washers with the screws the screw would stay in place and hold it to the door better. That what I did and it works great
perfect just what i was looking for

only con i have to mention it sort of "shifts around" on the door when opening and closing, also i wouldn't put any heavy items on the shelves.
A bit flimzy!

About Me Homeowner
It gave me the extra space I needed in my small pantry but had to put a thick piece of metal at the top and tie the top ends and middle of the rack to the metal piece with wire, because the top middle of the rack would start to bow and eventually could fall. The rack could be made out of something much stronger. Also, the rack would slide everytime you opened and closed it. I used a large rubberband to attach the middle edge of rack to the doorknob and that seems to help it from moving so much when you open and close it.
i would recommend this to anyone.

i bought this for my daughter to use in her bedroom closet to provide more storage. i couldn't find one this large in any local stores and not at this good of a price. have told others about it and now they want one. it is very durable and has given her much needed extra storage. love it!!
Works Great!

For me, this was the answer to organize my small pantry closet. The small stuff, like ramen noodles, pam spray, spices, they all get lost in the shuffle. Now they are where I can find them and my pantry shelves are doing what they should. I had my handyman come over and put it up, but I see now, I could have done it. The pieces on top of door are thin, so closing door no problem. He did anchor it with some larger head screws in 2 other locations so it wouldnt swing out when door in motion. Also got some shelf expanders. They are terrific.
Beware when installing

About Me Midrange Shopper
I like the capacity but caution the shopper that too much weight (i.e., can goods) will cause the unit to bend. The shopper also needs to be aware that the unit needs to be/must be secured to the door. Anchors are not included with the screws (most interior doors are hollow). The prefabricated eyelites are not round but angled preventing the screws from anchoring the unit. I purhcased 8 hanger clips that wrap around/over the finished wire and placed (screwed w/out anchors) them strategically over the unit for added support. This prevented the unit from moving and provided appropraite support for the weight of items being stored. The 2 hanging hooks for the top of the door need anchors as well. I used anchors on them too plus drilled through the hooks in order to secure them to the top of the door. You must ensure that the hooks don't prevent closing the door. Plus, the hooks are wider than my pantry door causing them to extend over the door into the room which is not cosmetically appealing. It's a great unit once you complete the above.
Just wish my door was not hollow!!

About Me Budget Shopper
I have hung on a door from kitchen to small laundry room. Problem is with a hollow door that the type of screws which came with the product do NOT hold the racks secure. I have used reinforced packing tape to hold and even that shifts the racks. Ideas?
